Welcome to your local Cats Protection!

We cover an approximate area around the Hatherleigh and Okehampton area. The branch is run entirely by a small band of dedicated volunteers.

We have a number of fosterers based in villages in our area together with one who runs our cat sanctuary. This is where all the cats who are not suitable for rehoming or are too old to be placed live out their lives in “pussy cat heaven” or as near to it as we can make it. We must have got it right as they are quite happy to stay and none have complained so far! If you would care to sponsor these cats please look at the sponsorship area on the 'Support Us' page.
